About the instructor: Katie Fries, LCSW, RPT™, is the founder and clinical director of All of You Therapy, an attachment-focused group psychotherapy practice serving children, teens, adults, and families in Philadelphia. She earned her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University, where she also completed a certification in Violence Against Women and Children. Katie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and a Registered Play Therapist™.

Katie has extensive postgraduate training in trauma treatment, attachment, play therapy, interpersonal neurobiology, and experiential and body-based approaches. Her training includes Developmental Dyadic Psychotherapy, Theraplay, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, AEDP, Brainspotting, sand tray therapy, Gestalt therapy, and Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy. Her clinical approach is relational, developmentally responsive, and grounded in an understanding of how trauma, attachment experiences, and nervous system regulation influence behavior.

In addition to her clinical work, Katie provides training and consultation to schools, mental health professionals, and community organizations on trauma-informed care, play therapy, attachment, and relational approaches to challenging behavior. She is especially passionate about helping educators move beyond punitive interpretations of behavior and respond to students with greater curiosity, understanding, and practical support. Katie also serves on the board of Peter’s Place, a children’s grief support organization.
